11/26（木）に川西市予防歯科センターで
「乳幼児期における食育・歯科保健研修会」があり、先生と衛生士３人で参加して来ました
川西市で開業なさっている徳永順一郎先生と
原田茂光先生のお話でした
徳永先生は４０年川西で小児歯科をされておられる中で
子供達のお口の中の変化をお話してくださっていました
４０年前は虫歯だらけの子供がたくさんいたけれど、
行政と親の意識が変わり、今は虫歯ゼロの子供さんが多くなったこと
その代わり、顎の小さな子供が多くなってきたこと、
1.6歳児検診でよだれかけをしている子供の数が減ったこと（唾液の少ない子がふえてきた）等、長期的な変化についてとても分かりやすくお話してくださいました。
原因がどこにあるのか
今の子育てと昔の子育ての違い、親の意識の違いをとても
面白くズバット指摘されていました
私の子育ては、思い当たることがいっぱいで、もう少し早く
お話を聞けていたらな
と思いました
原田先生ぼお話は、姿勢のお話でした
私は原田先生のお話は２度目でしたが、前回もお聞きした後、
子供の姿勢を気をつけなくては
と思っていたのに、ほとんど改善されていないことばかりでした
反省
姿勢を良くして、しっかり噛んで食べる
朝食はやっぱり和食がいいそうです
しっかり噛む食事を意識していきたいです

今日の毎日新聞に、「母乳を知る」という記事が出ていました。
きれいな歯並びや虫歯ゼロは母乳育児から始まる
と言うものでした
フィンランドの大学での研究では、
母乳育児が2ヶ月以下だった子は9ヶ月以上の子より、
下あごが後ろに引っ込んだ噛み合わせ（遠心咬合）となるリスクが、
4倍も高いと研究結果をまとめたとのこと
母乳が大事
とは聞いていましたが…
上の子は、混合で9ヶ月頃まで、下の子はそれこそ、母乳2か月以下で完全人工乳
出なかったものは仕方がない
研究結果ということで、みんながそうなるわけではない
と、開き直ってしまいました
虫歯は、フッ素や歯磨きで予防して、歯並びは悪くなったら矯正がある
でも知識としては大事なことですね

月曜日の夜、ご飯を食べようと思ったら顎が痛い…
左側の顎が
カクカク・ジャリジャリ
咬んでも開けても痛い
顎関節症が再発したのかも知れません
実は10年程前、海外へスタッフと旅行に行ったとき
体験スキューバーダイビングをしました
ダイビングはとても楽しかったのですが、初めてだったので
緊張のあまり、すごく食いしばってしまったんです
帰国しても痛みが治らず、先生にスプリントと言う装置を
作ってもらい、しばらく安静にしていたことがありました
そのとき以来の痛みです
また食いしばってしまったのかなぁ
ご飯を食べる楽しみも痛みのために半減
私の場合は我慢できない痛みではないのですが、
鈍痛が続くのは、気が滅入ります
顎関節症の患者様がいつも辛そうにされておられる気持ちが
ほんとによく分かります
でもせっかくのこの機会を生かして、少しでも楽になれるポイントを
患者様にもお伝えできるように探してみようと
思っています

最近、患者さんのご兄弟（姉妹）やご家族が矯正治療を
スタートされる事がふえてきました
私たちスタッフにとっても、ほんとに嬉しく、ありがたいことです
お兄ちゃんの付き添いで来られていたお母様のおなかの中にいた、
お子さんが初診相談で来られます
あっという間に大きくなってもう小学生
なんかしみじみしてしまいました
同じところで働いているからこそ、長いお付き合いが出来る
そんな幸せを実現させてくれている、先生や他のスタッフにも感謝です

先日、小学生の女の子に装置を装着しました
その装置は、お口の中にくっついたまま、ご家族にお家でネジを回していただくものでした
ネジ穴は上顎付近にあるのですが、そこにピンのようなネジを
差し込んで回していただいてます
診療室にはチェアーもライトもありますので、そんなに難しい
事ではないのですが、お家でしていただくのは結構大変
途中でネジが抜けてしまって、次に回そうと思っても、ネジ穴が見えなくなって、回せなくなってしまう事があります
そんな時は来院していただきます
今回の女の子もその状態になってしまい、来院下さいました
後輩が女の子の口の中のネジを正常な状態に戻し、
お母様に回す時のコツを話していました。
私がお話しするときは、女の子に頭を上げてもらって、お口の中がよく見える様にして、しっかり喉の奥に向かって回してくださいとお伝えしています。
その後輩は、通常の説明に加えて
「ネジを抜く時に、お母様が緊張してしまうことがあるので、
１度深呼吸して下さい
あせらないように、一息おきましょう」
と説明していました
私の説明はテクニック的なものばかりで、お母様の気持ちや
状態まで察することが出来てなかったなあ
お家での患者さんや家族の方の事を想像して、
アドバイスが出来る
自分の後輩ながら、すごいと思いました
後輩からも学ぶことがいっぱいです
